Context

Argentina is on fire. In the last few months more than one million hectares of Argentine native forest have been devastated by forest fires. Tens of fire outbreaks throughout the country are affecting both the native fauna and the inhabitants of different country towns, who have lost their homes and jobs because of them. This problem exceeds the available resources, causing the country's volunteer firefighters to be overwhelmed. But the most striking thing is that for the main media companies, this environmental catastrophe seems to be of little relevance. The news does not occupy their main pages, and it even seems that they decide to give priority to much more banal news.

Idea

We decided to take over the main news sites by making (as they did) a typing mistake, in this case a typing error.

We took over the domains most similar to those of the 3 main news portals in the country, so that all those who tried to enter their sites, and made a mistake when typing a letter, came to one of our pages. In them they found news that really mattered, the ones that tell the problem of fires in the country.

This is how we managed to inform hundreds of people about the seriousness of the issue. We managed to triple the donations for the volunteer firefighters. But most importantly, with the help of SeSocio and its philosophy "Let's invest in our future. Let's take care of our forests", we raised awareness about the environmental disaster we are living through.
